KMIR

Cathedral City, CA

A suspect who robbed a Cathedral City Goodwill store at gunpoint last week remained at large today, and police were seeking the public’s help in apprehending him.

At 9:37 p.m. last Thursday, the unidentified man brought a black semi- automatic pistol into the Goodwill store at 67555 East Palm Canyon Drive and forced the employees into the back of the store, said Lt. Glen Haas.

The man got employees to open an office safe for him, allowing him access to an undisclosed amount of cash.

He then fled the scene and responding officers were unable to find him.

According to Haas, the suspect was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, a black mask, black gloves, and navy sweatpants.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Detective Al Holloway at (760) 770-0313 or email the department at info@cathedralcity.gov.
