Cathedral City Resident Arrested in Road Rage and Assault Incident

Cathedral City resident Harvey Seno Lozada was arrested by Palm Springs Police Department Detectives on July 7th after he was suspected of inciting a road rage incident and assaulting the victim with a metal object.

On June 30th at approximately 10:00 AM, the PSPD Detectives investigated the road rage incident that ended in the 2100 block of E Tahquitz Canyon.

The driver of a BMW Coupe pulled in front of the victim’s vehicle. After the two vehicles aggressively swerved around each other, the driver of the BMW followed the victim vehicle to a parking lot in the 2100 block of E Tahquitz Canyon Drive. As the victim exited his vehicle, the suspect came toward the victim holding a long metal object.

After yelling at the victim, the suspect struck the victim on the head, causing him to fall to the ground unconscious. Afterward, the suspect calmly walked back to his vehicle and left the parking lot.

Detectives discovered a cell phone left behind at the scene, enabling them to identify the suspect as Harvey Seno Lozada.

Aggravated mayhem and assault with a deadly weapon charges have been filed against Lozada. He is currently in custody with no bail.
