Firefighters were busy overnight battling a blaze that broke out in a building behind a home in Coachella Tuesday night.
The fire was reported at the 52400 block of Calle Techa at about 10:12 p.m.
One building was destroyed meanwhile additional buildings suffered partial damage, according to a press release.
The fire caused a power outage that affected eight residents. However, Imperial Irrigation District was able to restore the power a short time later.
Fire officials say the building behind the home was only used for storage and therefore no one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
