An American Airlines flight out of Palm Springs International Airport returned to make an emergency landing Thursday morning after a mechanical problem.

Flight 3064 was headed to Phoenix when the pilot reported a possible mechanical issue with one of the aircraft’s engines shortly into the flight.

According to an airport spokesperson, the flight left Palm Springs at around 8am and returned to make the emergency landing at about 8:30am.

There were 42 people aboard the flight and nobody was injured.

It’s unclear how the airline is accommodating the plane’s passengers.
