Cabazon, CA

Sheriff’s deputies sought the public’s assistance in locating a man and woman suspected of stealing a gold watch and other jewelry items from two Riverside County businesses.

The suspects took an 18K gold watch from Kay Jewelers in Cabazon on June 23, a deputy said.

According to sheriff’s Sgt. Richard Beatty, the male suspect distracted a store employee, while the female suspect made off with the watch.

The pair are also accused in a similar theft in July at the Top Dollar Gold Exchange in Temecula, Beatty said.

The woman is described as 30 to 40 years old, weighing 190 to 250 pounds, with gold capped teeth. She was last seen wearing a white and black scarf around her head and a long blue and purple skirt.

The man is described as 18 to 23 years old, weighing between 190 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt and blue jeans with a large gold belt buckle.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects was asked to call the sheriff’s Cabazon Station at (951) 922-7100 or email at cabazonstation@riversidesheriff.org.
