Two teens who went missing earlier this week were found Saturday in Indio.
Robert O’Brian, 14, and Alexys Lucas, 16, were located after the Indio Police Department received a call from a resident who spotted the pair walking southbound on Clinton Street at about 9 a.m., according to Indio police Sgt. Dan Marshall.
He said the pair were found in good condition, and there was no sign of foul play. They were taken to a hospital for routine examination as a precaution, Marshall said.
The boy and girl were reported missing Wednesday after the teens told their parents they would be staying late at Shadow Hills High School for tutoring. But they could not be found at 6 p.m. when the parents came to pick them up, according to Marshall.
What the youths were doing and where they went have not been disclosed.
Both juveniles were reunited with their family Saturday morning, according to police.
