La Quinta, CA
A group of teenage supporters of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump were accosted in La Quinta Friday night and pelted with bottles and cans.
The boys, ages 14 and 15 , were standing at Highway 111 and Adams at the Republican Campaign offices at around 7:45pm. They were holding Trump campaign signs when a group of what’s described as lifted trucks zoomed past and spun their tires creating a lot of smoke.
Someone in the trucks allegedly threw water bottles and cans at the boys.
La Quinta Police confirm they responded to the disturbance but were not able to locate the trucks or the drivers.
The teens, who admit they’re not old enough to vote for Trump in the election, still plan to be poll master’s in November’s election.
