DHSPD Continue Search for Suspect in Carl May Community Center Burglary

A $1,000 reward was announced Tuesday for information that leads to whoever burglarized and vandalized the Carl May Community Center in Desert Hot Springs late Monday night (September 5th).

Officers were alerted at 10:11 p.m. to reports of a shattered front door at the community center, located behind Desert Hot Springs City Hall at 11711 West Drive, said Sgt. Gus Paiz.

Various items were stolen from the building, and the suspect or suspects committed “thousands of dollars in vandalism,” Paiz said.
